A Creative Mission

The only thing better than learning a new exciting craft is being able to share the experience with new friends and new generations!

Our recently opened Maker Space on the Shanel Valley Academy campus will be offering weekend and some evening classes for adults and sometimes kids throughout the school year. Our projects will tend toward mainly on tangible skills with a focus on using natural, and whenever possible, local, materials.

All funds from classes are invested directly into the Maker Space project’s current goal of bringing quality art and craft to the students at SVA and future goal of building out a larger and more robust space for the whole community.

Would you like to share your creative skill with our community? Get in touch! Our goal is to encourage community involvement through fun, beautiful, hands-on craft from wood working to weaving.
