Who we are
We are a group of parents, teachers, artists and community members who hope to share our love of craft with a broader community while supporting high quality art and hands on learning in our public school.
We decided we needed a comfortable and inspired local gathering place to join with old and new friends where we can all learn new skills and share the knowledge we have cultivated in our own lives.
While we currently use the Maker Space classroom on the Shanel Valley Academy campus, we have plans to build out a larger and more elaborate space in an existing structure on campus. The Maker Space Project is continually looking for creative funding assistance to speed towards our barn build out goal, please reach out if you would like to help!
