The Maker Space project has come into existence to promote beauty, curiosity, utility, skills, confidence and above all, strengthen the threads of community.
If there is an artistic style or skill you have been hoping to learn, please let us know and we will try our best to bring in the right teacher to share their expertise.
Wreath Making
Making gorgeous holiday wreaths with all natural, locally foraged and harvested trees and plants. We provided the base made from twisted, dried grape vines as well as the ribbon, holiday tunes and hot apple cider!
Stump Printing
Making stumps into art! Learn to turn a stump into a stamp for block printing striking, one-of-a-kind works of art. Basic techniques of block printing as well as making a basic magnetic hanging frame.
Round Braiding
The simple and versatile round braid can be used to make handles, straps, and in this class a beautiful, functional keychain. Appropriate for ages 10 and above.
