Pysanky Egg Dying
April 12th, 11-1pm
The traditional method of Ukrainian egg dying, called Pysanky, is attained by dipping an egg into different color dyes and then affixing the most recent dye color with wax. By dipping into progressively darker colors you are able to create elaborate designs full of color that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.
We will be using candles and hot wax in this class! While all ages are welcome, please use your best judgement to decide if your child is coordinated enough to be safe.
I will have a kids egg watercolor crafting table set up. Let me know if you’re bringing kids so I have enough supplies. Accepting donations for kids craft.
